This is an Excel file containing a comprehensive overview of trends in the World canola (rapeseed) industry. It comprises three spreadsheets with ample graphics which will assist you to develop a complete understanding of the trends in the major parameters of the World canola industry. The data and graphics are ideal for use in any presentation on canola you need to prepare.

The first spreadsheet provides the details of World canola from 1965 including the latest forecasts for 2018/19. This spreadsheet also contains notes with the graphs identifying trends in the World canola industry and comments on those trends. These notes are provided under each relevant graph for ease of reference.

 A second spreadsheet includes forecasts for 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19 for all countries, of area, production, imports, exports, consumption, ending stocks, crush and feed, waste and seed. The spreadsheet also shows the annual changes from 2017/18 to 2018/19. A graphic for each of the parameters showing the top countries in the World for that parameter (e.g. stocks, production etc.) is also included. This spreadsheet provides the complete picture of the structure of the World canola industry.

The third spreadsheet outlines the trends in the major countries involved in canola and covers trends in area, production, exporting, stocks, importing, consumption and yields. These tables and graphs provide a good overview of the trends in the major countries involved in World canola.

The first spreadsheet provides the historical data and a series of graphics of the movement in World area, yield, production, consumption, imports, exports, crush, stocks and feed, waste and seed use of canola since 1965 including the latest forecasts for 2018/19.

The second spreadsheet shows the countries of the world listed from the largest to smallest based on the latest forecasts for production, imports, exports, consumption, stocks, area harvested and feed, seed and waste.
Graphs of the top countries in each category are included. The revised forecasts for the previous year are also included for each of these measures for comparison purposes. The spreadsheet also shows the annual changes from 2017/18 to 2018/19.
